Matt, My son and I love your bats: the performance and the price! We will continue to purchase our wood from y’all as long as he plays. The only thing I would give thought to tweaking could also be a marketing tip for y’all. For lazy folks like me, what about offering the bats with tape grips in their teams color? Not only would the colored grips look cool, but I thinks many would buy them with the grips. Would it be worth it to you to for a nominal fee? If it were offered, I would buy my next bat or two with Columbia blue grips. Tell me what you think. I always have good ideas to make other people money. Gary W. Johnson

I found this style to be very similar to a different brand at a lower cost. The bat performs well, felt very balanced during the swing. I can’t wait to get a full year out of it next year as I got this just before season ending playoffs! Could not give 5 stars with the limited use of the bat so far.

The bat has been great! The only thing I would have changed would have been to go with a bat with a smaller knob as I am unable to fit a batting weight over it (something that I hadn’t even thought about when purchasing). My contact with the bat has been solid and overall I feel as though it has been a great value. I certainly will look to Annex for my future bat purchases.

Matt, I have used two different versions of the Annex model 280 bat. Both versions were 32″ -2/3. The bat’s balance and hardness is remarkable, with the larger knob at the bottom the bat is more bottom heavy than the typical barrel heavy bat, making my swing faster. The differences were half dipped and full dipped, the second batch I received was full dipped, I’d recommend full dipped because it makes it easier to clean pine tar off the bat after games. Train with wood, game with aluminum if your league allows, everyone should own a wood bat for training at least and this bat is a great value in the maple market. The bats were shipped quickly both times, check and like their Facebook page to see if there are any additional deals. 4.5/5 stars. Regards, Scott P. Szemborski28+ MSBL Player

Just received my new 280 before our last game of the season. During that game, using the 280 I had three hard base hits up the middle on breaking balls, one of which was really nasty. The balance is sweet, as if the bat almost swings itself. It feels like a slab of granite on contact.

I’m a varsity player, class of 2020. I bought three bats in different configurations to see how they compare. I’ve spent a lot of time in BP with all three…but this Model 280! There’s something about it. Weight distribution, maybe? Density of the lumber? It surprised me!–I could FEEL THE POP. Craftsmanship is superb…as good or better than anything out there.

Great bat. Perfectly balanced. I already hit a home run

Good quality bat delivered in a short time at a great price. Thanks

I have been playing baseball for a long time! The ordering process thru delivery was painless. I really enjoy the pro grade maple and supporting a local bat company at a very reasonable price. Victus and Axe bats are getting too expensive. This is my first 280 experience. I have used a 243 (to end loaded with a thin handle) 271 (smaller barrel and balanced). The 280 is a good mix of both with the large knob for a power hitter. The 280 doesn’t flex like the 243 would. It feels very solid. The sound off the bat is crisp! I used the 280 in 3 games, still waiting for my first HR with it but that is my fault not the bat 🙂

Hit the only homer of our adult league season with an Annex bat. Smooth swing, great pop.

I can’t say enough how much i enjoy Annex bats, this was also my first time customizing a bat as wel, with the flame stripe and orange handle options , When it came in, I instantly hit off the tee and took some B/P. The weight was nice and balanced, the sweet spot seemed larger than expected, and my bell knob was comfortable . So, if you’re in the market for a new stick, hit these minnesota boys up!

Very balanced due to the bell knob. Dense wood. Got it matte black handle & clear gloss barrel. The AM243 model is my primary bat, but I’d use this in a game if I ever want to opt for something lighter and less end-loaded.
